No big deal if it is one time snafu and only if someone reports you and after reviewing if Yahoo Questions thinks that it was put in the wrong category they will issue you a violation notice.
Only would be a problem if you had repeated violations, then at some point your account would be suspended then terminated. All the die-hard repeat offenders seem to do is to go back out and create another account.

I dont think they punish you for wrong category, but if you abuse or use if for hate or profanity, they will ban your account from Yahoo Answers
