lots of people are tempted to say the middle east, but there are many conflict zones around the world. there's the Kashmir conflict between India and Pakistan, then there's China and N Korea vs Japan and S Korea. then there are all those civil conflicts in Africa. not to mention Venezuela, Hugo Chavez is seriously thinking of going from receiving payments for oil in $ to euros, will the us attack like it did with Iraq. the same thing with the other OPEC countries. these are the more important ones, but there are many others. what do you think

I still think that the North Korea has the highest probability of setting off WW III. The Middle East has flared up so often that there is no real shock value that would cause people to over-react to the situation. Japan attacking North Korea would bring the US into direct opposition with China. I can't see China not stepping in, even hesitantly, to back North Korea, and if China gets into the conflict so will Russia on the side of the Chinese. We would be forced to back Japan.

If you think this is not probable, remember this is exactly what happened when Germany back Austria and set off WWI. It is dicey in Asia.

it's already begun.. and it started when America decided to assert herself as the "sole superpower" we have hundreds of military bases around the world, and we have build ups in at least three different places right now..not to mention Afghanistan and Iraq ... I hope that North Korea does not become overtly aggressive with South Korea or interacts with Japan ... because that would force our hand which would in turn force China's and or Russia's hand... which would then snowball because we would then have no reason not invade Iran and Syria, which is what we really want to do......and that could be the moment the earth turns into black glass.
India and Pakistan is another potential flash point ..this will be remembered as a very close moment in human history if it doesn't happen. Economically though, it's suicide for all parties involved and wouldn't it be funny if greed turned out to be the savior ? lets hope so...

Newt Gangrige said it already started and it is spiritual.

I'm not from Georgia and wouldn't call myself a Newt fan. But I think he is right on this one.

Systematic destruction of non Muslim villages. Started in Africa 30 years ago. Fast forward to the Hezbollah Israel conflict. Indonesia sent both troops and material support to Hezbollah to help kill infidels.

Oh Yeah it's started. Look at the people on this forum. There are many radicalized Islamofascists ready to defame any hint of truth about the war on infidels. Next it will be open protest and support for militant factions. (in the name of peace)

It really depends on when a war actually becomes a world war. Who is involved in a world war? Are the USA and Europe necessarily involved to even be able to classify something as a world war? I don't know and therefore I'm sorry, I cannot really answer your question.

WW3 will most likely start in the hearts and minds of ignorant, arrogant, self ego serving politicians on lands they think they can control without the support of the people.
