I don't have Madden 06', which should I get

If you really want one, get Madden 06.
I just got 07 a few days ago, and it doesn't include the walk-through tutorials that 06 had, which are useful for someone who's never played the game. In 07, they assume you already know how to use all of the offensive and defensive buttons, and only have brief movies about the new features.

madden 07 is better overall. i would say 07. you can learn the controls and everything in a day or two. plus it loads a lot shorter. updated rosters, and films of John Madden's coaching on the Oakland Raiders.
