One method is to keep sending your written work to publishers. Best check out which publishers are interested in comedy and then keep pushing. You can do this via the Internet. You might get away by sending e-mail samples of your work. If it's stand-up gags you could pick a stand-up comedian and send them some of your stuff and see if that works. Okay, here's one of my very own silly schoolboy jokes [I should grow up, I'm 66]. Q: What kind of car does the Marquee de Sade drive? A: A Mersadist. Good luck with your quest - you could be the next big comedy writer. Do NOT EVER GIVE UP.

The BBC and more recently, Channel 4, have been running trailers for budding comedy writers (amongst other talents), so why not look on their websites? Good luck!

Send it to all major publishing houses. With a bit of luck, they'll print it! Lots of luck!
