I recently lost two friends one at the age of 76, the other was only 41. They are no longer real and will become less of realistic the longer they will be gone when no one else remembers them anymore.
I think this applies to Jesus too, only a lot of people still keep his memory alive and even made a cult around it called Christianity. Not sure if that was what Jesus himself aimed for, but that isn't what you asked. So basically we are only real in the moment we have in this place and who knows whether or not we become a reality or a piece of reality elsewhere.

YES, He's real. Nobody can deny the facts that this man called Jesus (called the son of man) exist 2000 years ago or more.
The Christian view of Jesus also lies between two extremes, the Jews who rejected Jesus as their Messiah and called him an impostor, and other religious group who sees him as mere prophets and messenger of God. This is not so for the Christian, they hold Him (Jesus) in a very high esteem the God incarnate, the God that became man not man that became god. in these respect the Christian adore him, give praises and worship him more than ever in sprit and in truth.
To the Christian, He was not only a messenger, a prophet, a great teacher, a creator but more so a saviour of all men and the soon coming king and judge. As written, “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the son” (Matt 28:18) and for this rea-son no mere human prophets could equal him in his standing in the eyes of the living God. The sacred scripture says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be save” (Acts 4:12).
Jesus’ himself says in the following verses:
Matthew 28:18-20 “All power is given unto me in heaven and on earth, go ye there-fore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observed all things whatsoever I have commanded you and , lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”
John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the father, but by me”
John 11:25, 26 “I am the resurrection, and the life, he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he lives and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to seal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 3:13 “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven”
John 14:23 “If a man love me, he will keep my words and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him”
John 3:3 “Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God”
The essence of Christianity and the whole substance and strength of the Christian faith centers in Jesus Christ, Take away from Christianity the name of person of Jesus Christ, and what have you got? Nothing! Without Him there is absolutely nothing. From beginning to end and in all its various phases and aspects and elements,

Well not at the moment, as hes been dead for hundreds of years, but if you meant 'WAS Jesus real?', then not sure! I believe there to be a mystical force watching over us for guidance, but as for Jesus once walking around the earth healing sick people and having people worship him, well they dont have any real proof that he was ever alive, apart from what those people wrote in the bible! I dont know!

I am sure that there was once a person called Joshua bar Joseph (Jesus being the Greek translation of the original Hebrew) and it is obvious that he preached and claimed to be the son of God. Whether or not you believe this is a matter for you and your spirituality.

As real as any other story book character.
I believe in jesus as an idea, I don't believe any of the biblical crap that has been written about him any more than I believe that the Lord of the Rings tells us about the life of Gandalf.

There is enough evidence from different reliable sources to prove that the man Jesus did exist.
Further than that is a matter for each individual to decide.
