I've never known an atheist that I know of. I'm not a self righteous holier than thou person so it wouldn't bother me. I treat people as I would want to be treated and even though I am Christian, I don't believe in pestering someone into believing what I do. Some atheists have more morals than people who go to church everytime the door is open so I would have no problem with an atheist president.

I feel sorry for them. I know that God is very real, you can believe it or not. The fact is God is real, Heaven is real, Satan is real, and Hell is real. There will be a day when you are standing in front of GOD ALMIGHTY! What will you say?? It just makes me feel like bursting out into tears, right now, even though i don't know you, my heart is aching because i know all of the terrible things that are in store for you if you don't accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Just give him a chance and he will show you the truth, i promise. I don't judge people. I love people and i don't force my opinion on people i just want everyone to experience the love of God, and have the comfort of knowing that my God has prepared a place for me in Heaven and i will life with him, singing praise for all eternity. What more could you ask for? Everything that you are seeing in the news today was all forseen in the Bible. The raptue of the church is very very very close, Jesus is coming, please just give him a chance i want you to go with us.
Yes i would vote for an athiest pres. everyone in politics claim to be christian but actions speak louder than words. I don't think that religion in politics really matters

I would much rather have an atheist for president than that religious-god-besotted dimwit loony currently in residence. With an atheist, there is a much better chance that sanity would prevail as strategy and decisions would be based on the real world, not some imbecilic belief in fairy tales.

People are people
not believing in God doesn't make you less moral. Good people are people who do good things for the right reasons not because they are afraid some all mighty being will strike them down.
I move from atheism to agnosticism all the time.
I haven't made up my mind and it's my own personal business.
I've had people try to convert me and tell me things. But if there is a God and you really believe in everything that He supposedly teaches then you know ultimately he is the one to judge...not us.

I love all people. We are all created equal. It is not for me to judge however there is what you call rightful judging. That is where I would not hang out with you, but I would pray for you and love you "from a distance". One does become what one hangs around, eventually, and this could be positive or negative at times. God gives us choices, we make our choice then consequences for our actions come into play sooner or later. There is a God he saved me from death and I praise his name. The thing is you have to ask yourself, "Is my life good? Is it full, am I happy, content, or am I miserable and feel empty, like I'm so alone"? Then you have to change what you're doing cause evidently what you are doing now isn't working. I think you asked this question because you are looking for something else. Something bigger and better in you're life. Change is hard but it is good. The simplest prayer to pray is "God Come". Try it you just might like it. God loves you and is waiting for you with open arms. He never, ever turns his back on us, we turn ours to him.

Believing in God and following a religon is'nt a bad thing, Almost every religon teaches people to be honest, merciful, kind, helpful. Following a religon and believing in the after life, helps you to be a better person by believing in the presence of God which keeps you from commiting sin, although you might be tempted to. In religons like Islam it is obligatory to give a fixed amount to charity every year and not just out of pity...truthfully I fell sad for Atheists and sometimes even pity them....But when it comes to respect them I have no problem, every one has the right to choose their beliefs for themselves.....

I think athiest needs to be treated with much more respect than beleivers becuase they are the ones who are so brave and bold that they try to live an flourish without the help of any superpower!! Anyone can live by praying, pleading and giving up his own thought process to an external force called 'God' only the brave try to sail by their own wisdom and courage.

I accord Atheists the same trust and respect I hold for other people. Their belief is but an insignificant reason for me to treat them otherwise.

I'm Agnostic, and find that most Atheists are just posing to try to look cool. True Atheists are very Eccentric people in most cases, they tend to look at the facts in everything.
