You might have an allergy or a reaction to some food or medication. My husband had chemo for cancer, a side effect was the rash and bad itching. Aaveno makes a powder with oatmeal in it. Take a warm bath with this product, it will help. Also Benedryl pills will help stop itching, but it makes you sleepy, which is a good thing if you can't sleep from itchiness!!!
Benedryl also makes an over the counter topical cream. Good luck!

You question needs to be defined. Have you been prescribed medication and did you not ask your GP what is was for? Go back and see your doctor. Meantime try drinking lots of water to flush out your system and go to the chemist and buy aqua cream you will find it very soothing, unparfumed and none greasy and very cheap to buy..
Think about changing your washing powder..use non biological. Try using a different shampoo and soap. Also refrain from showering everyday until your body has the chance to replenish the natural oils in your skin.
Ask to be referred to a dermatologist and if can offord it I recommend food allergy tests. You may be sensitive to certain types of food and need to eliminate them from your diet for several weeks.
Hope the itching stops soon.... from a long term itcher.

I am not a doctor and even if I was a doctor I couldn't tell you over the Internet. You need to see a doctor in person to prescript a medication because there are many causes of itching and not just one medication will work for all.

try patting white vinegar on your body...it is cleansing, healing, a natural disinfectant....and it takes away itch and relieves sunburn...after you pat it on...let it stay on skin for a bit...then dilute...or rinse off....I heard this is good for exema too.
