To slowly draw the troops out of Iraq. And to stop labeling and refering to eachother as democratic, or republican. As conservative or liberal. To instead question one's party, to work together at what we know we all truly have to do. To stop being so close minded and open up to everyone, so we can work together.

Stay in Iraq until the Iraqis can defend themselves. We have to accelerate this because we need to take out Iran next. We must show the terrorists that we mean business. No more negotiating, no more UN. Military force is the only way we can end terrorism. Liberals do not get this. Isolationism will lead to another Pearl Harbor. We must be proactive. The main reason why we have such a terrorism problem is our unwillingness to finish the jobs we have started. Vietnam was the first. We won every campaign, but Americans turned against the war because the president refused to explain why we were there and the media at the time was allowed to publish the body counts. If you look at war emotionally and focus on the destruction and death, you lose the propganda war.
We must deal with Iran next. They will work until they are allowed to develop a nuke. We can hurt them economically by drilling for oil in the US. Open all avenues to oil drilling immediately. I do not care if carabou are displaced in a very small part of ANWAR. If we take the economics and money away from terrorism, a huge part of the war is won without violence.
We must also deal with China and their enabling of our enemies. Economics is how to do this. Pass the Fair Tax, which will eliminate all employee taxes and taxes on capitol. The taxes will be replaced by a flat national sales tax. Manufacturing will flock back in droves. This is a huge movement that may not win today or tomorrow, but it will win. We are financing our enemies by having these anti-freemarket and anticapitalist tax policies.
The best thing that Republicans can do is have another contract with America. They have the chance to put the Democrats away. The Democrats have offered nothing and do nothing but complain and criticize Pres. Bush
Suggested parts of the new contract
1. Effectively deal with illegal immigrants. No amnesty. Allow all that got here to stay as nonlegal residents. Build a wall on the densely populated parts of the border. Enforce the laws. Go after employers with huge fines and felony jail time for repeatedly hiring illegals. If you do this, the jobs will vanish and they will have to leave because there is no way to support themselves. Have some type of guest worker program if needed if it is true that there are some jobs that Americans will not due. Make it law that the only language in America is English. All government agencies must have all literature and conversation in English. All road signs in English. Immigrants must learn our language. No more anchor babies. This means if the mother is illegal, the child cannot earn citizenship by being born here. The only way a child can get citizenship is by being born to a legal citizen, legal immigrants do not count.
2. Pass the Fair Tax
3. Voluntarily privitize Social Security. No more future entitlements. People must buy their own insurance, retirement, Prescription drugs, etc. It is not the governments reponsibility to do this.
4. Reform tort law to eliminate frivilous law suits.
5. Drill for oil, promote smart use of energy. Cut the requirement for 50 plus different blends of gas. Make it federal law that it must be posted the taxes paid on a gallon of gas. This must be posted at every pump. We have no idea what we actually pay.
6. Pass a Constitutional Amendment making marriage between 1 man and 1 woman. We cannot leave this to our courts.
7. Make it a felony to publish leaked classified information. Punishment is equal to treason: death. I am sick of the NY Times doing this. We are all in danger.

I wouldn't object to a period of isolationism, at least with respect to the US government. Business should continue on as usual.
