Have you noticed that, if you're on the train or something, you sometimes get a kid just sitting there staring at you for the entire journey?!

Yes,I know.Then I start looking at myself,trying to find something that's wrong with me.One time,I said:"Is there something wrong with me?" And that little boy just blinked.Nothing else,like a zombi.
I supose they are just curious,they try to understand the world around them and it is a little bit confusing.They are like little sponges:they "absorb" everything around them.

Hmmm - maybe if you don't like them staring - you could think about getting rid of that butterfly on your face... this would be a sure reason for ANY kid or even an adult for that matter to look at you excessively.
Other than that... I don't know... maybe cause thier parents are rude and dont teach them that staring is not polite and that they should sit down. I NEVER let my kids do that kinda crud. but some parents are idiots...

haha u said journey....i sooooo noticed that but ya wanna know the freaky thing, when i was a kid, like around seven or so i would notice babies staring at me like they knew some deep dark secret about me and it freaked me out.....and yea i notice kids do that to me a lot like while on a bus or something.....its freaky, and i think, "why me?" theres plenty of other pple on the bus, why me? and then i get some kinda strange vibe that something abnormal is gunna happen to me like children of the corn or something

Fascination, normally kids are curious and fascinated by everything and having not developed and learnt the etitquette of not staring at people yet.
I just don't look at them anyway.

Kids are the most inquisitive creatures on the planet.
They stare to observe what you are doing and wonder in amazement at why you are doing what you are doing.

They are curious and when they stare they are learning everything around them. It is aggravating though.

Because they can. Maybe there focus on one thing, most of there attention span is short. So do not be freaked out......hehe
