Low freon. Send 12volts to the compressor. If it cools, then you have an electrical problem. If it doesn't cool, then your are low on freon. If the clutch doesn't engage when you supply power to it, then the clutch is bad. Just make sure you also have a good ground.

Low freon, failed pressure cycling switch, failed power steering switch, failed control head, failed compressor clutch coil.

fuse-- loose wire--drive belt not there--electric clutch buggered---compressor stuffed

More than likely your a/c clutch is bad.
