I would...
I think it's small minded and sexist to be otherwise.

I was in that exact relationship, and would never do it again. In time you would grow resentful, because you are not pursuing your own career goals. The male ego is very fragile, though you will never admit it. Plus most men do not understand, being a househusband is a 24/7 job with very low pay, that gets little respect.
I say both should have jobs that give them pleasure, and do the household chores together.

You might try what my wife and I do....several years ago I was unable to work outside of the house because of an illness...After a while I started working at home and also playing Mr. Mom seems to work really well working from the home and taking care of the house as well...since my wife doesn't care for housework or cooking.

Well...I already have a successful career and I'm still the "wife of the house" so I guess that leaves me out.

There are lots of men who want that role. Many of them don't even have kids to take care of and the house is not going anywhere if the men are at work. Men are becoming lazy.

if i loved him it wouldnt matter what he did. does he keep the house clean and do what a housewife does? thats a fulltime job itself. he might be a better dad when he is home all the time with the kids.
two months of that would make anybody want to go back to a job because with a job, you get breaks. you dont get them when you are staying home and cooking, cleaning, laundry, taking care of the kids.

i would be more than up for it, this year my hubby has been out of work for the first 6 months, and whilst he was out of work i desperatly wanted him to do the house hold jobs so i did not have to do them after work.
i think house husbands are great!
i would marry you right now if i wasn´t already married!
