it's a herb. a very large one at that. but scientifically it is a herb, though many call it the banana tree.
in fact, its called a "plantain"

It´s actually a tree, but cuz it doesnt exactly have a "bark" is has somethin more like a big "stem", its considered to be a banana "plant". Hope this helps. :)

Its more like a tree, although its stalk is more like a grass in that it is all soft tissue.
