The person? No. The spirit? Absolutely.
Whether one believes this event, Christmas, marks the birth of Jesus or not is a moot point. Those who believe are entitled to do so, and vice versa.
But, the spirit of giving, fellowship and good tidings can never be a bad thing, can it?
On one Christmas during the terrible trench warfare that was part and parcel of WWI, the fighting stopped. The Germans and allies sang Christmas carols together, and for one day there was no murderous campaign. The next day it was back to the business at hand, with those who shared a Christmas eve together trying desperately to kill one another again. This is true. It did happen.
So, how powerful is the Christmas spirit? Strong enough to stop a killing machine in its tracks.
Santa Claus should live forever. We need him..............

Not necessarily the man in the red suit, however, I do like to decorate for Christmas. I believe in the childhood magic that Santa Claus brings. The child that lives in everyone is what the idea of Santa brings out. The concept of love, innocence, and magic is a concept that never, ever be taken away. Only if you let it!

No, but for the sake of my little nieces I pretend that there's Santa, I dont want to spoil their Christmas, and their childhood.
