he has been calling her, giving her gifts and going past her house to see if she is home or with someone.she won"t answer his calls and is going through a divorce.i told him to back off for a while,she has problems and doesn"t need someone else at this point.what advice would you give him?

dude, tell your "friend" that she needs time and space!
back off, you're freaking her out, when and if she's ready, she knows how to get a hold of you!
