Blind Carbon Copy.

When you send an e-mail to someone and "CC" someone else on it, both the recipients see who else received a copy.

When you "BCC" someone on an email, their e-mail address is not sent to the other recipients nor is the fact that you're sending the e-mail to someone else known to the other recipients.

This is useful if you don't want the main recipient to know that you're sending the same e-mail to more than just them or if you don't want the "BCC" recipient's e-mail address shown. Often, people who send out e-mail newsletters to a lot of people, they'll list all the addresses in the BCC box to hide the other addresses from recipients.

BCC means Blind Carbon Copy !
when you cc someone then all the receipients get to know the email addresses of other people whom you have send the copy of email but when you bcc someone then the people in the bcc list wont be able to see each others address. This is done when you want to send same to many people but dont want them to know that you have send it to others too ! Each individual thinks that the mail is only mailed to him !

BCC- Blank Carbon copy
which is a carbon copy(duplicate) of your original mail(which is in to) but when any one will receive a mail it will show only to and cc address not the ones which are in bcc.

like if u want to send a mail to many, but donot want to tell them that it is a common mail.
in To- type in your mail id
leave cc blank and
in bcc put in all the ids.

CC will send whome ever you put in that address slot the same e-mail, they will also be able to see who ever else you send it to... and can reply to you and everyone else in the CC list

BCC= Blind Carbon Copy...
people who you BCC won't be able to see who else you sent the e-mail too and if you aren't too spicific they will think its an e-mail for them

Just to add, that people need to learn how to use this also.. I get so aggravated when something is sent to me and I have to scroll down for a minute going through all of the names that could have been put in bcc instead of having them all appear....

blind carbon copy

only the person getting the copy knows, not the receiver of the letter.
