I've had a few instances myself and it has been a couple years since the last one. Did you have a "butterfly in your stomach feeling" during any of them?
I wouldn't have believed they were possible until I had one...kinda comforting feeling though, it seems like tangible proof of a soul, ya know?

Well...I was awake during my experiences...or conscience rather, and I didn't die. However, during my first one I actually did think I was dead, b/c I didn't understand it. And well, obviously that was not the case. My OBE's were nothing I tried to do...they just happened.

I sure have! Was years ago but I have never forgotten it. I was sunbaking in the back yard laying on my back. It was quiet and so nice and warm, very relaxing. I think I fell asleep, then. . .I felt myself rise, still laying out flat on my back, up I went, completely weightless. Then so slowly felt myself curl up into the fetal position and roll forward, then stretched out straight again facing down and slowly lowered down untill I was back on the ground. I remember comming to and was amazed that had happened!! I was floting !! The amazing thing too is when I fell into this relaxed or sleep state I was on my back but when I came to I was on my stomach, head down where my feet were!!

We have lots of OOBE's all the time but we don't know about it or can't remember it.
Full separation takes practise but most of us only get partially seperated from our bodies.
When you relax to a very deep state you notice that you can't feel your body or parts of it anymore, that's when you partially seperate.
When you are very tired you sometimes get the feeling where it feels like you are faling, your body then quickly reacts to prevent this falling feeling and jerks you awake - The trick is to let it go and expect the falling part, you need to keep falling in order to seperate fully. This is only one method and there are lots more info at:

Hard to say what you can classify as out of body experience, when the subconsious mind takes over thats the time you get the "out of Body experience"

I think also peace of mind plays a big role over here. I've had such experience on and off. What about you?

If mentally jumping somebody and knocking their lights out (after being slapped by them) means I had an out of body experience - then yes, I did. If that does not count, then No, I have not had one.

yes, it is funny you ask as I was just talking to my wife about that subject yesterday. I have been out of my body several times. But that has been many years ago. Can't tell you why it stopped but I can tell you i could move around my house and go out side to my front porch. Thanks for asking.
