For long-term relationships ("LTRs") ending upon recommendation of one or more of the parties, or upon mutual consent, and in every case the parties remaining alive:

Modern women seem to be able to end LTRs without suffering any adverse emotional consequence: they're typically able to "move on" in roughly 1/400 the duration of the just-ended LTR.

Modern men tend to agonize over the end of an LTR, suffering adverse emotional consequence typically about 1.5 times (but often as much as 3 times) as long as the duration of the just-ended LTR.

I would like to believe it's not any more easy for either one of them. But in all honesty, I would think it would depend on the relationship. If it went wrong, to lead to the break up, the person who put in the most time and effort is probably going to be the one who has a hard time moving on. It's not a guy/girl thing.

I've been grieving over a broken relationship for over 2 yrs.. By now I should be over it, but there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. The sad part is that I don't even know why I'm still grieving. That's not like me. The only thing I can come up with, is that there was no closure and I don't do the rejection thing very well!! People that know me, know that I'm totally out of character. I won't even consider another serious relationship. It's too much drama! I get over most things really easy. If anyone was going to leave, it would be me. (HOLLA, Peace out, I'm outta here)!! I was never one to focus on the negative and didn't particularly care for those that did. I always felt it was a waste of time and energy. I was always Mr. bad ***! Maybe my attitude finally caught up with me? One day I'll figure it out. But for now, I know I need to get my head out my *** and move on!!!

It depends on how deep and how pure his/her love.If their lovres are pure and deep until their hearts not based only on their lust or physical desires, their loves will last long until they are married.
If the guy's love is only based on a lust after long relationship he will get boring so he will left the girl alone. So I advice to the girl do not give your physics easily before you are married to .You must maintain your virginity because the losser is only the girl and the guy is always the winner. The irresponsible guy will let the girl alone if he has got something .He seek other girl to have fun with him.You as a girl must always aware. to a guy like a rabbit. He will easily move to another girl if your honey has been raped.Do not go out only both of you girl with your guy because the third will be satan.Satan will gives support to your guy to do bad thing
if you are out of your home and out of control of your parents.

Theres no hard and fast answer, it could be either or it could be neither, it just depends on the depth of the relationship, the personalities of those involved, thier emotional state, and the reason for the breakup. Generally speaking the person who initiates a break up i s the one who moves on and gets over it faster.

Depends on who broke it off, but I'd say the girl. It is more difficult for a girl to find someone else, there is that old rule about girls shouldn't ask guys out, and some don't.

definitely its the guy..no doubt!

Because girls tend to give everything when we love..
We dont even ask for something in return & even if we knew for a fact that we already need to parted ways, there is still hope that someday you two will end up together..
Because the greatest quality of a girl is loving someone without restriction & limitation..

In short Unconditional love..

So its easy for the guys to move on because what they are most concern is their ego!

The girl, any old day...men love more deeply, even if they are the dogs that usually cause the end...they just have a more emotional bond to the woman than vice versa. Good luck
