Ah, yes! I've read about this as well. I think he also had a special relationship with his cousin if I remember this properly.

Maybe that is where he got all his wonderful thoughts from? I mean what if he was just taking ideas from brilliant horny women looking to get laid by a sexy man in exchange for knowledge!
