I'd like to know how much comic book shops would sell it for, and how much collector's would buy it for.

From Overstreet Price Guide in near-mint 9.2 or greater it is supposed to be worth $18.00.

Check the overstreet price guide- probably not a lot, because so many issues were printed.... DC made a big media event out of Superman's death and managed to flood the market.
The value of golden and silver age comics is so high because of their rarity.
