Mark Morice used a neighbors boat to evacuate people stranded in their homes when Hurricane Katrina hit, he saved the lives of countless people.
Now John Lyons Jr (neighbor and owner of the boat) is suing for
$12,000 --the amt of money the insurance wouldn't pay and for grief,anguish and embarassment).
Mark Morice is a hero.
and should not be sued for using something that someone left behind ------to save lives.
In my book Mark Morice deserves a medal.
In my book...Lyons Jr. deserves recognition for "Stupid Jerk of the Year"!!!

ohh, I saw a comment on the news where an ole lady said..."he didn't ask permission"
Duh...ole lady....it was hurricane Katrina...there were bodies all over the place and people in their attics so they wouldn't drown......in situations like this..the
h*ll with getting someone who wasn't there's permission!!!!!!!!

ohh...I watched it again and the old lady was someone that was saved. He took her and her husband to the hospital.
It was the lawyer for Lyons that said someone with authority should have asked for permission.
Mark Morice left the boat on St St...and it was destroyed or something.
*Also, when he got the boat --it was half submerged...
Also all of his " other " neighbors gave him permission to use their boats but their boats were submerged. Lyons boat was the only one he could help people with.

I just wonder why The Jerk even filed a claim for the boat in the first place . I mean if the boat was being used in the aftermath then it sounds like the boat was fine. It sounds like a case of fraud by John Lyons Jr.
I hope that this case gets thrown out of court or this Jerk (Lyons)gets his just deserves.

John Howard 10% GST and 30% income tax and $$$$for every other country but not our own he thinks hes GOD with our money wish people would wake up and see that it is all designed for the rich to get richer.He scared everyone with interest rates at the last election think about that amount of money you now need to spend just to survive and he makes 10% on every move you make wake up Australia

I heard about Mark. That other guy's a douche bag who's obviously jealous that he didn't get credit for saving people. Now he's taking it out on the guy who actually did.
