Recently, an adware got into my pc. I suspect its from a program called IM Names. Although I deleted the program, the adware is still there. Is there a free adware remover program to remove it?

Otehrs have posted some very good general all-purpose cleaner app links, but you need something more specific.

IM Names is a backdoor trojan virus.

You can clean this particular virus here.

Click where it says Spyware Doctor, then click the button to do the free online scan. You don't need to buy the product to run the cleaner.

Good luck.

I'd recommend:

Spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
Adaware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
