I always wonder why 18 year olds would want to be with 14 year olds. Is it because girls his age wont' go near him? What business does an adult have dating a child?? 14 is a child still--and 14 year olds aren't always emotianally ready to handle what this 18 year old may be pressuring her to do. Do your friend's parents know she is dating an 18 year old? If she were my child, that 18 year old would be nowhere near her.

No. Why? The young man is 18 and falls under another set of laws, then your friend who is 14. Now, it is true that girls develop and are more mature than boys in their age group, but not in this situation.

No. He is legally an adult. She is a minor. Besides, at that point in your life a four year age difference is much much different than if we were talking about a 24 and 28 year old dating.

Probably not, but age is not everything. Look at thier relationship. Do they have things in common? Do they have similar interests and limits or is one always pushing the other to do things that they aren't ready for? If there is an imbalance or your friend is changing too much then its wrong.

i dont think there would be a problem, unless hes pressuring her && shes just too young for that. but love comes in different ages and you shouldnt fight it.
