I'M ITALIAN: If you really mean that you'll se that person later, the best way is:

"ci vediamo dopo!" or simply "a dopo!"
If you happen to hear "ci si vede dopo!" that person is surely from Tuscany, like me! (We always tend to use the reflexive form!)

"A più tardi" sounds VERY formal

"Ciao!" sounds too generic in this case. It's more like "c ya!"

Ciao is a good one. Or Colloquio a voi più successivamente.
