Depending on what kind of windows you are dressing, vertical blinds are awesome. I have them on my two large windows in my living room. They come in different patterns, colors, and vinyl and cloth. I love mine.

Blinds are cheaper and easier, but curtains look better.

I'm a blind lover. I have the 2-inch wood ones. You can easliy clean them also by using those swift dry dust cloths. I do have some light weight curtains, just not in every room. You can set a budget on just how much you want to invest. They make real wood blinds and faux wood blinds. Your choice. Have fun.

I go blinds because curtains are dust collectors however it depends on if you can live with the minimalist look, curtains do add a finished look to a room and these days you can buy some failry inexpensive ones.

if you end up going with blinds the thick ones look the best blinds give it a sleeker clean look i personally have the white faux wood blinds made of plastic from home depot with curtains i made to give it a softer look they cut the blinds in width for you free those bamboo blinds are really nice and inexpensive too

For me, its curtains. Its a mixtual of traditional and elegant. We get to choose the design and cloth for the curtains. Blinds are just standard color and pattens.

blinds are cheep and they keep a lot of the heat out but they come in only one color. but you dont have to worrie about washing them like you do the curtains. i have both blinds and cutains/

Curtains. Because they are availbale in so many refershing colors and designs. They are cheaper if you can search for it.
