okay my mom decide i could get my very own car but she says after i get my liecene(SP?) so i havent decided yet. should i get a chysller 300 in midnight blue, black interior leather, fiber glass hood, with neon blue lights underneath along with some spinners and an electronical hook up meaning 4 tv, a dvd/ cd player, attached mp3 player with person computer hook up and a map guide. or just and plain benz black on black?

this thread is retarded. Mercs ARE NOT that reliable. they have been waning on quality over the last 8 or so years. Not the merc of old. The chrystler 300 is also designed by merc, just so yall know. Mercs also dont keep their value as well as they used to, granted theyre still better than chrystler (which are horrid in resale).
the 300 you describe would make you look like a buffoon, not to mention cost you about 15 grand over the cost of the car, minimum. The merc (great call on telling us what kind, moron) would most likely end up being much more classy.
the answer is neither though. neither are that great of cars. If you want somethign cool, go grab up a lotus elise. Pretty bulletproof (uses a toyota motor) and wicked fun to drive. If you want something more luxurious, then get a lexus IS or ES model. They ride better than pretty much any benz on the market and far better than a 300.

Seems like you are still a teenager. I think you should go for something more economical like Toyota. The cars of this company are more reliable. And don't forget that with car comes heavy cost of maintenance. Any expensive car will show you the price. If you decide to move after school the expense will probably fall on you. So decide wisely. Don't just look at the comfort. Look for what you will be able to afford after you become independent.

Check on insurance and repair costs. The benz will keep its value better and will probably be more reliable. If you are just starting to drive you may want to leave all of the attention interupting accessories off of it for a while until you get used to paying attention to the road, this includes your cell phone

Well Mercedes Benz are a Reliable and very good car.... It would last you alot longer than a chrysller ..... Plus mercedes never does out of style..

Chrysler is cheaper on gas insurance and price is lower. Mercedies is nice but way to expensive. If your parents are buying and they dont have a price limit go for the Mercedies.

if you have that kinda money do what you want you are the 1 that will be driving it but you have to think about the insurance and the gas and so on
