Sorry, you are going to have to go to casualty of you local hospital. Carry on eating the bread though. They will have a thing to fish it out with.

The chances are that the fish bone is no longer stuck in your throat but has actually scratched it. This will also give the feeling of discomfort when you turn your head from side to side.
If you are feeling no further discomfort and you can eat and drink normally you shouldn't have a problem. If the bone is really small, it should 'digest' within a few days.
If you are worried then go to the casualty department of your local hospital.

Try something a bit more moist than dry bread. I had the same thing with a small chicken bone. Went to casualty, x-rays etc. Called in the canteen while waiting to get x-ray back and had a meal with some mashed potato... did the trick for me. Good luck! Sue xx

Rice may help- I suppose that's the same kind of thing as the bread tactic, but you never know... it used to work for me, but then, I gave up eating fish a while ago, so it's been a while ;)

Go get it removed. When the Queen Mother used to get fish bones stuck in her throat on an almost yearly basis, she always got them removed.

Just keep eating bread and go to the hospital and they will look at it for you.

i doubt there is any medicine that 'dissolves' a fish bone...if there is it's probably harmful to your body as well. go to the doctor if it really persists xox

Roll the bread into a tight ball, as big as you think you can handle and swallow it whole.

If you leave it, eventually your body will recognise it as a foreign object and expel it (usually by becoming infected, think puss etc..) so get down to A&E!!
