Firstly login to your yahoo mail and then on the top left corner there will a 'MAIL Tab' with an arrow pointing down click that arrow and inside that you will get set of options in which one of them will be labelled as 'options'. It will be 5th from top and 2nd from bottom.

Click it.

You will reach the option menu the window will be labelled as 'Mail Options' and in the left coloumn there will an 'options' just below checkmail and compose tab. In that click 'Account Information'.

Here you may be asked or may not be asked for re entering your password. If it asks for the password enter to go to Account Information page.

Here inside the Yahoo ID Card you will see 'Password: Change Password' Option. Click it. Enter your old password or the current password and enter the new password and confirm the new password.

Click save to save the new password.

U will be back to yahoo id screen.

Birthdate cannot be changed once u entered it while account registration. The reason behind is that suppose you forget your password and the birthdate will help you to get a new one.

If you are able to change the birthdate then it will be easy for password breakers to overtake your account.

They will be able to change the password and Birthdate and your won't be able to access it since you don't know whats the birthdate.

and same case with security answers it couldn't be changed.

Log into your Mail account, and you will find an "Options" link near the top right-hand corner of the page. Click on it. You'll be taken to a different page, with a little sidebar menu on the left-hand side. Click on "Account Information", at the bottom of that menu. You may be asked to reconfirm your password, if so, just do it. Then, from the page that shows up, use the Edit links to change the information you need to.
