guys i'm thinking about buying a next-gen console..but i don't know which one to buy xbox 360 or ps3...

The Xbox 360 is probably the best of the 3, since it has the same graphics, has better games, and has an average price of the 3.

The Xbox 360 is also EXTREMELY fun and has Xbox Live.

Wii would be good for its unique controllers and great Nintendo gameplay.

The PS3 is not a great console. The graphics are gittery, lame, and if you don't have a HD TV your #$#% out of luck!

The Xbox 360 on the other hand is the best console and will win the next gen console wars! The graphics are outstanding, even if you don't have a HD TV! The line up on games are alot better, such as: Halo 3, Gears of War, BioShock, Fable 2, ECT... The list keeps growing!

The xbox live service is the best! you can chat with freinds, play with any one around the world with the best quility service in the world. Recently they released a Xbox 360 vision camera where you can see other people who you are chatting or playing with.

With xbox live you can also Download Arcade games, Demos, Trailers, Music, and extra software for particular games. In order to download all this stuff, you need POINTS. You can get these points by playing Xbox 360 games and and achieving a goal made for that particular xbox 360 game.

This may sound confusing but you'll get used to it.

Given the choice between the two, you need to choose on the games you're wanting to play. If you're looking for sports, the 360 all the way. If you're looking for RPGs, the PS3. Either one is going to have various console FPSes (360, Halo 3, PS3, new Killzone), either is going to have various other random titles.

Personally, I'm waiting for the Wii. If you're not looking for a specific game franchise, and you want fun games to play, it's the safe bet and least costly of the bunch. Nintendo is the old hand in this business, I'm excited to see what the final version is like (the tech demo level of the new Mario was a blast), and I respect them for trying something new with controller input. Well, sort of new. It'd better work better than the powerglove this time around ;)

To the second part of your question, on pure technical specs, the 360 is a high-mid end gaming PC (circa end of 2005) with some heating issues. It does what it does fairly well, just let it breathe. The PS3 is more interesting, the cell architecture sounds like a blast to work on... but it's also having some problems, and it is unclear as yet how well it's going to work for actual users. Performance will likely be comparable between the two, with the PS3 *possibly* getting better over time as the game programmers learn the proper backflips to work with the architecture.

both are great systems but how much are you willing to pay? I work in the game buisness and can tell you that the price is really a big deal of what people will end up buying.

PS3...$600.00
Wii...$200.00

If you want the same old games with better grafix than choose XBOX or PS3. Nintendo Wii is the system to get for both price and fun. Do your reserch and you will come up with your own conclution. I,m getting all three and cant wait for HALO 3 (XBOX) but I can wait for the PS3 cuz it is just to F@#$%^& expensive.

ok dude if u wann pay 600-800 bucks on the ps3 go ahead but let me tell u i have a 360 and it was all worth it just remeber this halo 3 will be coming out the same time the ps3 will and as for the details the ps3 is gonna go blue ray disk and that mean that its might have better graphics that both the 360 and wii but but gonna cost u alot more but it all come down to is what your more of a fan of

if u like american games such as FPS and RTS, then u should buy X360. but if u like RPG then you must buy PS3, for wii, it has great game and very unique.
for graphics it looks PS3 has the best graphic, but i'm not really sure cuz i only see it on screenschot or trailer...
X360 is the second place. it got seocnd place cuz microsoft release it first before PS3, so PS3 had more advanced tech.the graphic of wii is not to great, but nintendo can cover it with wii remote

for the price, they have really big difference:
X360: $399
PS3: $600
wii: around $200 (last time i see on internet, the price is $170)

so it's really up to u

well the diffrence in graphics ps2 and 360 is not very diffrent just that ps3 will have about 18% more graphics i read it
that just mean if your playing a game like grandtheft auto
people will look more realistic and more people at the scene at any one time

If all you want is the same games rehashed with better graphics then either of those will be fine. If you want original new games which are actually fun, then get yourself the Nintendo Wii
