Im building sa gaming PC. The case I have has a 500 watt power supply. Will this be enough to run a 64FX-62 processor with geforce graphics?

Not the just the watts that matter, how many video cards are you going to have, then how many hard drives do you want then.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Also the higher video cards for gamers needs a plug from your power supply that plugs directly into the video card!!

The FX62 only takes about 35 watts

I got a 64FX-62 with a 650w BFG Power Supply, w/Geforce Graphics, works smooth for Matrix online....

if your a diehard.....theres 1 Kw Power Supplies on the market, However,, I wouldnt want to pay your light bill........

If you want perfection buy a voltage stabiliser to give a constant voltage. For your load it will cost about £150.
Don't confuse this with the cheaper double transformer spike controller.
Where? In Aldershot somewhere if they are still in business. Ask their Chamber of Comerce.

500watts will be more than enough, but try getting a good power supply, like bluestorm, because there are some bad quality power supplies that say 500watts and they are actually 200watts!
