It is illogical and impossible, because along the way of this fascinating process a gene in this super-lineage might mutate resulting in an undesirable characteristic, and if it were to be even remotely possible then it would take at least 15 -20 human generations.

There will never be a perfect human
Because, what do you define as "perfect" ?
Once you get into looking to purify the race, you begin thinking like a Nazi- and all sorts of atrocities because justified.
A perfect world is a diverse world, where diversity, ( and every man woman and child) is accepted, loved and cherished.

assuming we have zeroed in to all genetic traits carrying the perfect traits on physical appearance and on recuperative abilities. assuming we are able to eliminate all unappealable trait from a single gene then find a perfect host cell for it, it should only take like 9 months to see the birth of the perfect human on these terms. okay, i am referring to cloning vis a vis breeding.

I dont think there will ever be a perfect human because you must master EVERY aspect of human life and even 1 small mishap will throw off the entire project, it would take billions and billions of years just to break a dent into that. I really dont believe it will EVER happen

All the mentioned criteria are subjective and subject to different interpretations! I strongly recommend you read the well-known book "the language of the genes", by Steve Jones. And more importantly, the idea of eugenic society is absurd and far from any rational prospect.

I may be wrong about this, but didn't the Nazi estimate it would take about a 1000 years to purify the Aryans of all the impurities they supposedly picked up over the centuries.

Probably 2^100. In statistical analysis, this is often considered infinity, as far as iterations go. An iteration is like a generation gap.

the assumption of "appropriate" retains changing from technology to technology: remember the Russian adage: "appropriate is the enemy of stable!" a appropriate human, as a result, in any technology, is yet a dream baby!
