I haven't heard that much about Tim Burton's new project but it
sounds intriguing...Johnny Depp as the barber Sweeney Todd who
cuts the throats of unsuspecting patrons as they sit in his "special" chair and then he drops them to the floor beneath where the woman baker, who he is in cahoots with, takes the bodies and turns them into "delicious" meat pies that she sells in her bakery.
Cannibalism and a shave...what a concept...and a musical no less.
Yep, I'm looking forward to it.

Dude!!! That would probably make for a great movie. But Danny Elfman, if you don't already know, is a very sinister sounding singer, formally of Oingo Boingo. If he doesn't sing in the remake, than maybe he needs to begin his theatrical debut in the movie somehow, along with composing the music, which we all know he will do, as he has always done for Mr. Burton...

i think it's a delicious proposition going by what the two have done together before but I am not so sure about the Elfman bit because IMDB says music to be composed by Stephen Sondheim
