1 You can make a home made solar water heater if that is all you need by simply having your parrents buy you some matt black BBQ grill paint and paint a plastic bottle with it, fill the bottle with water and sit it in direct sun, you will be amazed how hot the water will get. 2 if you want the heated water seperated from the heating medium you can simulate this with PVC pipe buy a length of 1/2" and one of 1" you will have to know how many U turns you need to make inside your box so you will know how many 1"end caps to buy and how many 1/2" 90* elbows you need for it. Make up all the 1" tubes first, by placeing a cap at each end. You will need to make them up outside your house because the PVC glue is toxic in a confined space. This is true of all the PVC gluing you will be doing. Use the 1/2" pipe to represent cold the water in and heated water out by carefully cutting short pieces of the pipe and gluing the 90* pieces togeather to make up U shapes that will be glued to the center of the 1" end caps later. Tape the outside of the end caps you made up earlier, so that when you spray paint them black the very ends of the 1" cylinders will remain paint free. All painting and glueing should be done out of doors, for safety. Now for assembly start with first cylinder, this will be the cold water in, Remove tape after paint is dry, glue a single 1/2" 90* elbow on one end and centered on the 1" cap. let it dry fully then cut a length of 1/2" pipe long enough to extend out of the display box from the afixed 90* elbow. Now carefuly orient the IN pipe as you want it and attache a previously made up U shaped piece to the other end of the first cylinder, keeping in mind the correct orientation from it to the remaining cylinders keep conecting all the cylinders to show the staging from on to the other. On the last cylinder, on the opposite end from the cold water in cylinder, glue a single 90* elbow and length of pipe to act as hot water out. Good Luck

Search the topic "solar water heater" on Yahoo or other search engines. If you can get instructions to cook meth or build your own atomic bomb, I am sure you can find instructions for making a solar water on the Internet. God bless the World Wide Web!!

Black PVC pipe, tinfoil lined box, and a glass lid.

(A black garbage bag works too for heating water)
