I did about 30 years ago, but didn't realize it. I was 17 at the time and stupid. I ended up hurting him by cheating on him with an old boyfriend. Although we got back together, he never trusted me again and so the relationship ended. The thing that drew us to each other is that we had the same scar on our right pointer finger from a cut we got from a knife when we were carving a pumpkin on Halloween night when we had been both 11 years old. During the last thirty years I have never saw him, but have been connected to him in weird ways, too many to mention. I have been married twice, but I have never found anyone that comes close to him and really believe he was my 'other half' or 'soul mate.'
