Sure, no problem. You want to cure cancer in day for what ... under $10?

I have a few ideas...but you hardly seem serious enough.

You could research the ice melting properties of various commercially available ice melt products (Halite, QuikJoe, etc.). You could discuss the chemical components of each product. You could discuss how exactly each speeds the melting of ice. You could also research how the amount of each product added effects the rate of ice melting.
You could do a cost comparision to determine which situations each product would be best used.

I do not know if you live in a area where there are ice or snow storms, but if you do, you realize that while this project may not cure a disease, it might just prevent a broken bone or two :)

I hope you found this helpful.
