No they are of no use to society. They do not educate society about family values, culture, well behaviour, respect to elders and forgiveness for youngones. There is only zealosy, family breakups, turmoils, no value for time, family voilence, etc.
Viewers have started sidelining her serials now.
In todays world of stress at work/ business, a person needs some light mood refreshing programmes like Laughter Challenge, Shabbaash India, etc. so that a person may laugh a lot and be proud to be an indian to refresh his/her mood, for another hectic day at work.

I think they have some Positive and More negative Messages . Positive becoz they show a rapidly changing society, changing Moral values and also give a message that one should be prepared for Bad situations in Life . On the other hand , they show some of the things quite unrealistically . Some woman are shown over-scheming ,always plotting to kill someone or cause trouble/pain/suffering to others. I doubt if one has so much time in today's Jet set age to scheme so many things. And then there are characters who are too Idealistic for today's world.

Her serials are a brilliant bore; thoroughly cliched and unrealistic. each and every character "dies" and springs decrease back with a bang the very next episode. Her serials have the comparable previous saas-bahu storylines with diverse names, it relatively is all. there is no lead to sight, the two. while the objective marketplace thinks that a serial is going to end, there is the umpteenth twist and the story is dragged on ... Yes, definitely they are useful to the society-They teach saas-bahu to fight and make-up, and the present generation not to be misled and respect elders and lead a good life ! They provide good income to The channels, and to the TV stars enacting therin.

They're crap. She and Karan Johar are showing screwed up stuff... whatever they have seen in their own homes right from child hood. They are a true case of "Defective Upbringing"

they r kachra because the way she shows it never happens in the real life .the man being a grandfather of 20 years grandson or grand daughter is thinking of marriage .it is spoiling the society.

i really don't think . all her serials begin with a good , flavoured start.........and end up with the same split ups and marriages.it has no sense getting anurag basu married over twice and prerena looking younger than her kids........spoilin good entertainment and peoples minds
