(1) i think you know the answer; it depends on the person and not the gender.
(2) Guys tend to be more explosive coz they keep their emotions to themselves. Although it's more acceptable now than last time for guys to show their emotions, guys are taking their time in adjusting to this whole senario.
(3) Girls are more connected to theirs and others' emotions that is why we think girls are stronger emotionally.

Well i think so i think that they have troubles showing it though and bottle it up till they explode see my husband works with all men real Manley type and yet when one of us are expecting they turn into big girls and show of baby photos or rub our belly's. they also have there periods i think which is for one whole week out of a month they are in possible they are moody and irritable with bad mood swings. I always say to my husband when the boys are together they are whores that a group of girls in a sewing circle wheres us girls know at times when to hold back and when to let go but like you said they are men and you cant expect to much.

Well both men and women can be emotional according to their personalities, but men are taught to hide their emotions because it's sissy. Without the stigma men have with their emotions you would find a veriety of emotional and less emotional men just like women.

I don't think so, but that's just me, a man. Girls seem to be the most emotional of the sexes. At any age, and anywhere! But that's ok. But sometimes it's pretty hard to deal with, as men don't understand. We try, but it is not in our nature.

I read all the answers and I dont bottle up anything. I enjoy my emotions but I dont cry over problems, I fix em. Thats what men do by nature.

I have to say I have meet my share of strong ladies and men .. so I don't think we can really generalize a group of people. It really is depends on the person .. Hugs Mel

don't know about more emotional, but guys absolutely have plenty. we just don't ever let our emotions out. i usually keep mine all bottled up for no one to see. maybe if i find a girl that will let me tell her when i'm mad at her without trying to make my being mad all my fault.......maybe then i will open my bottle a little to see if i can allow myself to let some of the emotions out

I think both are equally emotional. Boys learn early on to hide theirs.

I can see where that would be true. In some guys, they keep their emotions bottled up....not a good thing.

I don't think that is true.
The boys I know just don't seem to have any emotions.
Maybe it's just that girls show their emotions, but boys don't.
Or maybe it just depends on the person.
