If you were given a choise to take a drink that had a 50% chance of killing you, a 25% chance of makeing you like captian amarica the perfect human and a 25% chance of giveing you amazing super power like superman or the sentry or something like that, would you risk it?

If it was just for me, I would, becuase I have always wanted to be more than I am, to be a superhero, and I would risk it for the science, and to help humanity.
However, it's not just for me, as I am married and have two kids. The kids in particular already think I have super powers, and I wouldn't risk my life so easily when my family counts on me so much.

you mean like in that episode of Family Guy where mayor Adam West splashes around in nuclear waste so he can get super powers like the griffins after an accident give them all super powers. West ends up with leukemia instead. Boy that was funny.
But anyway, with a 50% of death its not worth it. Beside there is always the danger that you'll get twisted with all the new found power you acquire. Yeah, you say that if you had super power you'll use it for good and all that jazz. But if you actually could be like superman, how many people would actually be that noble. Maybe 1 in 20.

Yes, I would risk just about everything in the world for superpowers. If I had superpowers, then I don't think there is a person alive who would want to be with me in the first place. I don't want to risk their life as well as mine.

I'd clone myself first, make him drink some, and then see the effects, and then depending if it killed him, id drink it....but only if it gave him awesome powers.....i dont want a super human sense of smell or anything....

NO! First why risk death. Second, who really wants to be perfect and who wants to be Captain America? The ambition in life in not to be prefect but to be the best you can be.

Nah, why risk it? I'm not happy as I am, but those power probably wouldn't improve anything else but my pride/confidence.
