I'm 23 and I've decided to go back to college after 4 years of graduating high school. To tell you the truth I'm still really scared to go back, especially since I'm not sure what to study yet.
I live in a country where you go and study your career, not like in the US where you minor and major.

I'm also scared since I've never been a "social butterfly" I'm the kind of girl who sits in the front, and rarely talks to someone for more than 10 minutes. I stay my weekends sitting before a computer all afternoon. I've also never have had friends and neither a boyfriend.
I find it difficult to keep a conversation with someone.
Do you guys have any advice on how to make friends, "real" friends.
I'm blonde, thin, green eyes; I don't know what's wrong with me.
I just find it so hard to socialize, I'm afraid I'll go through college doing team work by myself.

I'm chosing graphic design, I'm so scared, since that career is full! But I want a career that allows me to work independently

It takes a lot of courage to go back to school. And even if you weren't a social butterfly in the past, that doesn't matter. You can reinvent yourself in college. You're an adult now and you've got to learn to be comfortable with who you are and confident enough to change the things YOU don't like about yourself. Think of all the positive things you have to contribute and put your best foot forward. Don't be scared, wonderful things are out there waiting for you...Go for it!!

when you find something you like to do and you are around other people who like the same thing as you, you will have plenty of things to say. like people tend to migrate together, you will find your clique, and college is the place to find it first.
college prepares you for the social environment, so don't miss out on it.
you just havent found people like you and there are plenty of people with your "personality" type.

have fun and drink a lot!!!
