Carlos Mencia is painfully unfunny?

Yes, Carlos Mencia sucks big time and he is NOT funny. I’m not sure if he qualifies as a racist, but Mencia is definitely a media whore and would sell out his mother for a joke and a pay check.

That feeling that you have that you should find him funny, comes from seeing so many people foolishly impressed by his empty, tired race jokes and believe him to be some sort of free speech hero.

What a lot of people don’t understand is that Carlos Mencia is cashing in on Racial Exploitation - which is the sensationalism of a race to capture an audience, usually at the detriment of the race’s ethnicity. One tactic of this exploitation that Americans fall for easily is the abusive mis-use of free speech. Anyone can get away with saying very racist comments just by including all races. This tactic can turn the most sick, perverse words into the most courageous display of free speech. I like to call this being an “omni-racist”. One of the previous replies said that Mencia can get away with racist comments because he’s ethnic. It’s not as simple as that. South Park does the same thing, yet they are a thousand times more funny and clever. The Howard Stern show does it too. Even Dave Chappelle questioned if his conscience could withstand another season of his Racial Exploitation show. Is it illogical, still immoral, hypocritical, still racist, and damaging? Of course. But due to Political Correctness, which is based on the popular vote, not right or wrong, being an Omni-racist is ok today, in fact, Mencia is a hero.

I think these people want Mencia to be funny, so they can get the satisfaction of relieving inner, unchecked racial tension.

Whether it’s omni-racist, omni-hater, or omni-verbal abuser; these terms of free speech without the burden of proof are some of the main reasons why America can never heal. How many scum of earth have you seen in the media or in your personal life that are highly respected because they verbally abuse everyone? Or admired by women for their so-called brave honesty? How many gorgeous women pursue these ******* because “he’s a challenge” or “he’s honest”? How many people are fooled into believing that’s it’s a type of strength?

Carlos is funny, but his humor doesn't just skirt racism, he dives headfirst into it. All his humor is stereotypical. It makes me feel that his show is always just a couple heartbeats away from a riot in the studio. I wouldn't want to be in his audience.

I agree with you. If I said even one of his jokes, I would be labled a racist, but he can get away with it just because he is ethnic? What the hell. Let's just keep hate alive and then keep blaming the ones that aren't even allowed to make the jokes.

No way jose. He is the funniest person in the world. He's not afraid of wat peeple will think of him. He tells it like it is. He is not a racist but is very honest. Honesty is good.
