They may not be human yet but the soon will be. someone has to give these babys a voice and stand up for then cuz they cant fight for their lives by themselve. why abortion. anyway i just want to kno what ur opinion is.

I believe abortion is murder no matter what the so called reasons for doing it are. If God doesn.t want the child here then he will take care of it his way. Who are we to decide his/her fate? If you cant take care of it or cant afford it or whatever, you need to carry the child and then give it up for adoption. You aren't careful you have to live with the consequences, same as you would if you killed a 45-year-old man. Cause and effect. Just because you screwed up doesn't mean you can erase your "mistake" and go on with your life like nothing happened and it didn't matter. That is so morally wrong. We have gotten so far away from owning our "mistakes" it is unbelievable. If you are raped no matter the age, the effects of it are from God. So who are we to play "God" and destroy what he has put there. We don't create life by ourselves. Where do you think the soul comes from? Like I already said if you don't want the child, unfortunately some people will pay alot to help a mother have her child so they can adopt it and love it. I hate they have to pay, but there are bills. But anyway there is always someone wanting to take a child and love it and Cherish it, so why would you take that from a child. Life is hard but that's the way it is. There's no going around it. You have to face your consequences for your actions. It's that simple.

I was 15 years old when I got pregnant with my first child. He has severe genetic abnormalities and i can truly understand how if it was someone else and they found about all his problems and future surgeries they would have aborted him. Some people can not handle children like this. I think abortion is okay in a case where it is due to the health of the mother or child. Handicapped children are very hard to take care. You don't have any idea how many times I sat with my son in assorted hospitals and cried with him and wondered why he was even alive. He has had 11 surgeries to date. I love him so much and he is the sweetest little kid, but he is 6 and cannot walk talk or even sit up, and still suffers from different illnesses that require hospitalization about 3-4 times a year. Most people will not even consider adopting a child like this, they need a lot of medical attention and if were left for adoption they would probably be neglected. You really do not understand what goes through a womans heads when they are considering abortion. -- Just to clarify I do not think it is okay for abortion to be used as a form of birth control! If a woman no matter the age has sex willingly then she should not have the option of abortion and should give it up for adoption if she can't afford it or does not want it.

You know that people are crazy. They live together without getting married and get pregnant. Friends have free sex and pregnancy is the result. Some men cheat their girls when they come to know that the girl is pregnant. Sometimes the woman is not medically fit to carry on with the pregnancy. Yet sometimes some pregnancies can lead to even death of the mother. Some of the girls are would not have reached the age of child bearing. So if it is an unwanted pregnancy that has to be terminated, it has to be aborted. Nothing wrong in aborting a pregnancy that is not required, though the couple would have thought about it earlier. In such cases, it is always advisable to terminte the pregnancy instead of delivering a baby who is not required, can not be cared or loved even by the baby's mother. Your question, if the baby becomes the president of a country or a helping cop.. does not matter here. There are so many children who are not wanted and left out in the streets. Think about them than thinking about a baby who is yet to be born.

I use to think that way, its nice and straight forward.
A Black and White way of looking at the world, but the world is not that simple. If it were, there would be an awful lot more suffering.

Imagine the foetus was sick and/or deformed and would only live a short time after birth, and in terrible pain?

Imagine the mother’s life was in danger due to complications?

Imagine the mother had been raped and had only just found out she was carrying her attackers child.

Imagine... (Fill in the Blank!) there could be a million other scenarios.

I still think Abortions purely for convenience are wrong, but trying to legislate or prove what is a legitimate reason and what isn't would be a nightmare and would probably take longer than the pregnancy.
Our current system (In England) is far from perfect, but I can't think of a better alternative. Can you?

Would you rather be forced to have a child?
Would you like to have your free will taken away?
Would you be happy living in a society where that happened?
Think about.

I think that your right I have been studying abortion forever and the way they abort the babies is horrible and the reasons. Most girls go and get it because they're being pressured by a boyfriend or family member. Now unless the baby defiantly has a serious health problem or will have a mental problem then I am O.K. with it. But the girls are not doing it for that reason and its wrong those babies have the right to a life just like everyone else they didn't make that girl lay down and spread her legs. And with all the other ways to prevent pregnancy there is just no excuse for it!!!!!

I personally could never do it but I believe it should be a women's right to be able to chose whether or not she wants to go Thur with that. The way I feel about it she is the only person who is going to have to answer to to it in the next life time. I do believe however if the mother's life is in danger and she is going to die if she keeps the pregnancy then by all means end the pregnancy after all I am here first if there is no mommy then there is definitely not going to be no baby. Also, if she was raped and can't blame someone for choosing to do that since she wasn't willing having sex to begin with.

This time last year, i was raped. I didn't find out i was pregnant until october and by the time they booked me in for councilling, i was 19 weeks plus 5 days. That meant that i was too far gone to have an abortion in my hospital. I did try everyway i could to have an abortion, but the doctors wouldn't do it. I had to give birth to the baby in april and i put her up for adoption. That child will want to know who her parents are in another 18 years, if not before. Imagine how she will feel when she finds out she was conceived as a result of a rape. To make4 matters worse, social services will have to try and find the father and he could end up with her!

Because many people like to take the easy way out and don't think of the ultimate concequences of having intercourse before having intercourse. They fail to realize the "ultimate" goal of intercourse is much more than feeling good.
I feel that abortion should be allowed only under certain specific circumstances...Such as if the pregnacy puts the mother at risk or rape or possibly if there is a known defect that would impact the life of the child in a EXRTEME manner.

I cant imagine what goes through someones mind when they choose to abort a child.. however I have never been in the situation that some women are faced with, so I cant be judgemental about it. In my opinion I'm strongly against abortions, I agree with you 100%, why not give the baby a chance at life!

i am not against abortion. because i believe a woman has a right to have a choice. there are lots of reasons. first of all she probably cant afford to have a baby, and she got raped. i mean why go through pain if she got raped and pregnant. woman probably wouldnt even know anything about the rapist ( like any diseases or genes so why put the baby under a risk)and plus u cant have an abortion after 3 months which is before that it is not considered as a "baby".
