If you are referring to western Christians, especially those of the US, then how many times do we "turn the other cheek" before enough is enough? And should we stand idly by while Christians are being murdered in places like Sudan and Indonesia, and churches are being razed to the ground? We have turned th other cheek so many times that it must be accepted that the attacking party has no intention of stopping no matter how many time we turn the cheek and that it is a futile gesture after a certain point... we were attacked about a dozen times with no real response before 911 (remember the USS Cole? or our embassy? or the hotel where many Marines lost their lives?). We have a national seal with an eagle clutching the olive branch of peace in one talon, but the arrows of war in the other. Most people do not like war, but there comes a time when it is necessary to stand up against the forces that do.

I am sorry...what kind of planet are you from?

I see Christians suffering in Pakistan, India by their anti-Christian laws...they are sentenced to death penalty (where is freedom of religion?).

Elsewhere we see more anti-Christians using violence. Where do you get the idea that Christians are using force? From the USA?

Of course, you Americans have no right to utter a word as you are invading other nations by force leading them to long term disasters. It is not Christiany...it is the oil...certain international favoritism and interests. It is not Christianity but nationalism with conservative 'mask' and pretense, yes, a lot of it. Ohhhh...American Christianity !!

Not only violence but hatred of all others that don't believe exactly what they believe. Yes, absolutely all battles should be fought with love - it's better for society and better for our inner well-being. Hatred and violence is the opposite, it poisons society and our souls. This is what is detroying our world and I truly believe that a loving attitude to all things is our only salvation.

One only attempts to convert when they disrespect anothers beliefs. A missonary attitude is a form of oppression.
