If you saw what I just saw you wouldn't be saying that.
If you want gung-ho racing there are lots of lesser formula and motorsport classes. Watch these, but don't moan about the best cause it's over your head. The subtleties and technicalities of F1 combined with the knife edge distinction between individual driver's skills at F1 level mean you have to be a more appreciative spectator. With a little cerebral effort on the part of the viewer, F1 is every bit as exciting as any other motor sport. You obviously don't appreciate just how good the drivers are and how that makes F1 special. It's not the technical stuff, at all. Not really. If all F1 drivers were only as good as Takuma Sato (Japans best racing driver, ever) you'd get the spectacle you're after regardless of the technicalities.
Cricket. That's boring no matter who's playing at any level.

Well, nobody who has seen the last two races can say F1 is boring.
The Hungarian GP, raced in the rain, offered spectacular overtakings and crashes throughout the race.
The Turkish GP, which ended an hour ago, offered chaos on a high scale and spectacular battles. like Fernando Alonso fending off Schumacher for the last 15 laps for a true Imola-like finish. (Imola 2005)
My guess is that the only thing they should do to make it more exciting is to let the drivers do their stuff on the racing track and the pit crew in the pit lane. F1 is proving to us that it isn't dull.

Wait, are you heavily asserting that just about each RACE between 1991 and 2006 grew to become into boring? Even those Schumacher did no longer win? what style of ***-backwards screwed up good judgment is that? basically considering you do no longer basically like the guy does no longer recommend that the races he competed in, even if if he gained or crashed out on the 1st corner, does no longer recommend they weren't inevitably solid. definite, a number of his wins have been processional bores, and a number of the later championships he gained weren't very exciting while he grew to become into triumphing just about each time, yet come on - once you are going to create a subject count like this, giving human beings the prospect to appoint their %. for the main boring race ever, do no longer then basically go "yeah, sod it, each race for a decade and a half." a minimum of %. one in specific, because of the fact i think of something every person else says would be for a extra effective reason than yours. besides, the main boring one ever enormously plenty should be the 2005 American Grand Prix (satirically gained by using Schumacher) seeing as there have been basically six vehicles there. opposition might desire to be made by using the comparable concept for the 1982 San Marino Grand Prix that had the comparable subject yet with 14 vehicles, basically the Ferraris made for an exciting race in that one, so i might pass that. the different one that got here directly to recommendations grew to become into the Italian Grand Prix from the comparable 12 months - that grew to become into enormously plenty a procession from start to end, and the 1st in approximately 40 years to no longer have a single retirement. The 1991 Phoenix Grand Prix should be up there too so a procedures as finished snoozefests go. the only subject close to exhilaration provided grew to become into by using Ricardo Patrese's attempt in that race, at the same time as something enormously plenty basically held station in the process.

Yeah, it has im just waiting for a multiple car crash somewhere in the race, but it still is fun seeing all of them bending the F1 rules and the technology working together. I hope there would be at least two races where all of them would have identical cars (hoping for a Minardi or on of the back runners) then we'll see if that isnt fun.

When Colin Chapman pioneered ground effects I thought it was a marvelous idea; but looking back I think it was the start of F1 losing what made it so special. I also miss the days when teams had different engine configurations.
I would guess it is a combination of over-regulation, limited passing due to aerodynamics, and Bernie Ecclestone that add up to a boring series.

I agree with you on this. I loved F1 since I was a kid, and the excitement was much more intense, now its run by the mechanics they're the ones who win the races, there seems to be no skill involved in the driving anymore

It was better last year, I think the new qualifying is to blame in the main. I think they should start in reverse order of their team position in the constructers championship, certainly applied to the top ten. This would dispense with qualifying altogether for the majority of the season, it may require awarding more points but it would improve the races no end.

Make F1 more exciting, by getting a Challenger 2 tank to drive into oncoming traffic, would make for some interesting races, and the drivers reaaly would earn all the money they are paid
