Click on the photo and crop it. or you can go to a website such as villagephotos.com, and when you upload a large picture, it may crop it down for you.

You may have photoshop, which enables you to crop a photo down.

Haha, so a silver $one hundred digital camera is extra useful than a black digital camera that costs between $900-$8000? the image sensor is extra beneficial and extra useful and the lenses are interchangable. the conventional of the pixels are so lots extra useful. I easily have a Fuji factor and shoot and a couple of canon DSLRS. you have finished handbook administration and extra useful administration over your settings with DSLRs. With a silver factor and shoot digital camera the photos are extra grainy and you will't manually concentration by using a lens. to no longer point out the physique value is detrimental. optical and digital zoom is this type of comedian tale whilst in comparison with the advantageous optics of a interchangable lens, somewhat an L sequence lens. factor and shoot cameras furnish you little to no bokeh (historic past blur) and in my ideas that makes the main innovative photograph. what's extra useful having a digital camera with a lens you could no longer replace so which you will no longer replace the zoom, wideness or intensity of field? or having digital camera that would address 100s of distinctive lenses commencing from extensive attitude, telephoto zoom, fisheye, fastened and macro? The black prehistoric finding cameras are made that way so they might experience extra delicate on your hand, to place the numerous buttons and dials on and definite using fact so they might look like older slr cameras.

Use a picture editor (i.e. adobe elements) and crop the extranneous stuff from the picture - or you can go to edit, resize and then resize by inches.

If you dont always want to use a picture editor, then you can manually adjust your camera to naturally take smaller photos:

you need to adjust the camera picture size settings so that it is 640x480 pixels - you dont need a large resolution to take pictures that are going to be put on the web. 5mp cameras are good for pictures that are going to be printed as photographs... The best way to figure out how to adjust the picture size is to read the user manual (rtfm)

normally i would use photoshop but my computer doesnt have the program...what i usually do is use the "paint" program you get from going to start>programs>accesories>paint. then open the picture like you would any document in word or whatever. then in the top of the toolbar go to "Image" and click on sketch/skew when the box pops up type in 50 in horizontal and 50 in vertical and hit "ok" if the pic is too small hit undo and try again using a smaller number like 25 and if the pic is still too big then go and use larger numbers like 75

If you have access to Adobe Photo Shop, just select "image size" in the "image" menu. There you can adjust the dimensions, dpi (resolution,) and the size of the file. I recommend a small picture with a high resolution (at least 200dpi,) rather than a larger picture with a lower resolution.

Well if you don't want to install any complicated program you can always use a print screen and then paste in paint and cut out the bit with your picture. Save it as jpg.
