For me, I continue doing whatever. I am used to the sound of gunshots, and the way I see it, if it is my time to die, I will die. How about you?

When I hear gunshots - it is either coming from the t v or I am at the movies. So my answer is I'd be startled, probably blink, continue to watch the movie, enjoy the popcorn - and chew faster.

I have never heard a gunshot, unless it was when I was a child hunting with my father, something I would never do now as I love animals. I live in a very small midwestern town so I guess in this way I am lucky, but I am sure you are lucky to live in a bigger city in ways that I am not.

It's funny because I don't even flinch when I hear a gunshot. I live right by the woods and my neighbors are always out target shooting.

I've never heard gunshots other than at the shooting range (Thank God). If I did hear them I would grab my family and duck.

I get a chill of excitement, look to see where the action is to see if I can get involved some how....I love the sound of gunshots....and I love the smell of burned gun powder, the roar of a large caliber weapon and the pulse pounding thump of recoil, oh yeah..baby....yeah...

Depends on how close is the gunshot. It is still stupid not to take precaution even if you are fatalistic about life. Don't you know, "fortune favours those that are prepared".

Actually, unless you have been otherwise trained, I think the natural human response to any sudden loud noise is to turn and look in the direction from which the noise came.
