Because their is no originality and no talent in today's Hip Hop...
And plus all these rappers out now are A-B-C-1-2-3 rappers...
Also record labels only look for what will sell for the mainstream audience, so they get these no-talent rappers, while the real ones struggle to get deals without having to dumb themselves down for record sales...
Most of today's rappers are detrimental(50 Cent)...
Hip Hop is now a business no longer a culture, or a genre of music...

The roots of Hip Hop was the urban poet.
But an obsession in the trappings of wealth has corrupted the soul.
Few Hip Hop artists now can string even a coherent thought, let alone anything profound.
If you took away all the money, all the false idols of gold, then maybe the inner poets would return....

because instead of being about artistic expression it is reduced to a product for $ (not to say all hip hop artists are this way) but that is what it has come to

It basically sounds the same. Rhyme with a beat, can get old fast. Most of it, you can't understand what they are even saying. Not alot of meaning to them. Just a bunch of talk. It will fade and something new will take it's place.

Many rappers figure that there's more money in the suburbs in the ghetto, so they make money for that crowd. It sucks though
