The caffein in coffee causes an endorphin rush which if done too often can cause an addiction as well as withdrawel effects when it isn't used. So, yes, too much coffee is very bad. Only use it when you really need it. Otherwise, use some other method (exercise is a good alternative).

too much of caffeine affects ur heart and blood pressure - first of all. then, digesting system, especially if u already have problems with that.
it can cause insomnia and break down ur nervous system as well.

The latest report a few days ago on Aol news said one cup of coffee can kill you (certain people who are at risk),but others who drink several cups a day are not at risk.

Quite frankly Im tired of this guessing game that keeps changing the research results. So Im giving it up all together to give myself the benefit of the doubt - since I only drink one cup a day anyway.

Doctors have said for a few years that a couple cups of coffee can help prevent things like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other complication. However, if you notice that it make you too jittery, gives you heart palpitation, or you get headaches, stop immediately and see a doctor. If not, you should be fine. All in moderation.

Some people can get addicted to caffeine and rely on it every hour to get through the day. I think it also raises blood pressure and heart rate which can be bad if you have existing problems with your circulatory system.
