what does the saying "Nice guys finish last" mean???

It means the good guy never gets the girl...
The one who deserves to win, never does...
The scoundrel always wins 'casue if your not cheatin', you're not tryin'.

It implies that you have to be mean and ruthless to get ahead, therefore all the nice guys finish last, while the mean and ruthless people win.

It could also be interpreted as meaning the good guy doesn't die so early. Finishing first isn't always the best outcome.

what it means is if your not nasty,mean,obnoctious and all the bad things that girls go after you will not have one.we as girls or woman always say we want a nice guy but when we get one we dont want them anymore why you ask "they are too nice"kinda stupid i know but that is why they say nice guys finish last its always the bad guy in front of them.

Just that you got to be aggressive at the work place/school otherwise colleagues might use you as a carpet, soft and cosy to step on but when u look up all you see are "**** holes"

being a nice guy doesn't exactly get u wat u want. that's what the phrase means. usually that quote applies to girls. like the nice guy always ends up as a friend. so that's wat it means nice guys finish last
