The not "not quite pimples" bumps might be an indicator that your skin lacks "water". Use a baby-wash to wash your face, these are gentle enough to not strip your skin of moisture, and won't make your face any oilier either. When moisturizing, mix a few drops of water in it, wipe over your face and blot off the excess. After about a week you should see improvement and your skin should stabilize. Then select a Freshener/Toner/Astringent to suit your needs.

I have had semi-problem prone skin my entire life. I was always walking that fine line between oily and dry skin, and went to a dermotologist since I was 13. Just recently I was forced to try alternate solutions from my perscriptions because of insurance, and I decided to bite the bullet and try proactive. I NEVER order things off of an infomercial, but I honestly love it! My skin is still not perfect, but its so much better in a short amount of time. The first step is an exfoliating step, which helps smooth out skin and remove dead skin. And my oily skin problem has dramatically improved as well. The second step in particular I think helps shrink pores (which is another problem I used to have.)
It doesn't hurt to order a trail and find out if it works for you!

maybe you are using a wide variety of skin products which makes your skin iriitated,and that causes acne.don't try too put too much make up.don't use concealers,it clog pores.if your skin is oily,try to make sure you wash your face as often as you could.dirt comes into your pores and your oily face plugs-in the dirt,it causes pimples.use a mild facial wash,dermatologically tested.and if you want to use make ups,use water based make ups and noncomedogenic,means it won't clog pores.look for acne lotions,creams or gels with tretinoin,it will help stop pimples from forming by preventing the pores from clogging.hope this will help ya.good luck. =)

Keratosis pilaris appears when extra keratin accumulates in the hair follicles. This is usually in childhood, and most obvious during adolescence, often it clears in adulthood. It tends to be better in the summer than in the winter. Keratosis pilaris is harmless, and is not infectious.

It sounds like you need to go the the dermatologist. I took advise from other people about my skin and it got worse because you really do not know what is wrong. It could be something as simple as an allergy or as complicated a a rash. In any event, a medical doctor can help you.

This might seem funny but actually I would suggest using no products at all. Let your skin rejuvenate the natural way, but do everything you can to help it do that. Let me explain. Your skin needs care from inside out. There are many things you can do to help your skin rejuvenate the natural way, I will name a few. Drinking enough water daily - to help your body and skin to remove toxins. It's very important to get enough sleep, daily workout - to increase blood flow in your skin. And like I said this might sound funny, massage your skin in the morning and before you go to bed.
How to do this... It's best to do after workout, when your body is active and your blood flood is increased. Wash your face with water, use only gentle soap. Massage your face, your skin has to be red and feel warm, or when you get the tingling feeling thats when you really did it. Avoid using oils for massage, if you do want to use a product, use pure Aloe Vera gel, it's the only product I would advise.
This way you will stimulate your skin and it will help to rejuvenate the very natural way, if you do this EVERY day you WILL see positive results... But remember --> Every day!
It will take some work and some time and this is important thing to do even if you do use products to help your skin. Doing this you will increase the products effectivness. I've had problems similar to yours when I was younger but when I was searching for products to help my skin my friend who is a doctor advised me these same odd things. After 2 months my skin was astonishing... Everything healed by itself and the conditions never returned, our bodies are supposed to do that, you know. We just have to give them a hand (lol).

I used to have the same problem. You can try applying egg whites onto your face and leaving it there for fifteen to twenty minutes, then rinsing it off with warm then cool water. You can just save the egg shells from breakfast and apply that to your face. No need to waste! Or you can also try putting oatmeal inside a small cloth bag (make one if you don't have one!). Wet that and rub it on your face until it's sort of lathery, then rinse it off with warm then cool water. After you've tried it for a couple days you should be able to see a difference. I guess you'll have to see what works best for you. Also, you should look into what sort of moisturizing creams you're using. I found that certain kinds make me break out into the bumpy rash sort of thing that it sounds like you have. Hope this helps!

Take my advice and see if it works!!!!! First of all every day when you wake up wash your face with the normal face wash & make sure you get all of it off.......then use a acne cream on the bumps with a Q-tip not all over your face.....Then just put a moisterraizer that is sottable for your skin.......twice a day every day and it will surelly get better....
