Wasn't that Super Bowl in1980 when the Eagles lost?

I don't know about the Raiders, but the Eagles do have a chance this year.

Horrible prediction....Both teams are missing something vital...Raiders being defense, and Eagles being offense...just two very incomplete teams that will both likely miss the playoffs. The most obvious picks who have the best shot at the game right now are Denver and Carolina....but underdogs for crazy predictions:

Miami and Arizona? Now look Miami got Culpepper, the defense is pretty solid, and Chambers and Booker. Brown is making his way so far, but needs to improve, but they're set to get some wins this season. Arizona can make the super bowl two ways. Raw, full on, all out scoring frenzies...just scoring more points without really stopping the opponent because the D sucks. Or...the defense steps up just enough to carry the offense. Either way, if they can pull it off, they have a small shot.

So there you are, two picks, one serious, and one crazy ;)

I think you're going for crazy but somewhat plausable.....how about this?

Green Bay vs. San Diego

Green Bay has a cupcake schedule and drafted a couple of Guards that are really doing well and will start. They switched to the Zone Blocking scheme for the running game and I think Ahman Green will really have a good year. Greg Jennings is a WR they drafted that has been compared to Marvin Harrison. AJ Hawk and A. Hodge are 2 new rookie LB's that bring it.

San Diego has it all if the QB can play up to NFL standards. I actually think they can be as good or better than they were with Brees. A few breaks go their way and the Defense continues to get better, they could stun a few like the steelers did last year. Almost beat the Colts last year.

21-10 Packers

I could see the Eagles, but the Raiders would be quite a stretch. My crazy prediction is Ravens vs Redskins. McNair if healthy can light up any secondary and Jamal Lewis can run over most defensive secondaries. Brunell may surprise this year and of course Portis if healthy is a monster as well. We could have an all NY World Series, so why not an all DC area SB?

Raiders Vs. Cardinals

Cardinal D is ready to step it up this year, and the Raider O seems to be getting where it needs to be, both surprising in the preseason, hopefully that momentum will transfer into the regular season.

Final Score: Raiders win in a shootout, 45 to 38

Pittsburgh and Carolina. It will be tougher for the Steelers this year but they know how to put it together for the right teams. It is about coaching and they have the best staff in the NFL. Carolina is phenomenal. They have it on both sides of the ball and with the addition of Keyshawn they have a great secondary receiver opposite Steve Smith. If the running game continues to produce they will be nearly unbeatable.

Steelers 13, Panthers 10

I don't know about Green bay, they looked awful in their preseason loss to San Diego, But I have to agree with Anita Hooker about the possibility of San Diego going to the big show. If (and its a big if) Rivers can play up to his potential in his first season as starter, San Diego has the offense and defense to beat any team in the league. Rivers just plain has more talent than Drew Brees did. Also they didn't almost beat the Colts last year, they actually beat the colts last year in Indy, ruining the colts perfect season.
