most women preffer the fruity flavors of mixed drinks to beer, therefore, fewer drink beer. but i think just as many women drink alcohol as men, if not more.

Yep, I agree...most women just can't stand the taste. You ever notice how especially out at bars or in restaurants girls drink more mixed drinks than beer? Beer is just more of a man's drink. But since I've hung out with my boyfriend and his friends for four years, I've come to get used to beer. I just drink what's there if I'm not paying for it.

Some women like the taste of beer! :o) Personally, I like some beers o.k., and then I love Coronas with lime wedges in them...of course, some people don't consider that beer, hah!
But, perhaps, they don't drink so much of it because society puts more pressure on them to be thin and that's something that's high in calorie that can be fairly simply cut out of the diet.

Maybe it's because the male palate is less refined than that of a female. Maybe men are more socially and psychologically capable of enjoying beer. Maybe estrogen makes all beer "taste like piss." I don't know and I don't think it really matters. If a chick doesn't like beer, then that's too bad for her.

Women's bodies cannot handle as much beer as mens'. Women don't drink even 1/3 as much beer as men.

Beer tastes like piss. I hate to be a priss. But why would I want to drink something that tastes like piss? Hey, that rhymed! Probably peer pressure....it is the "right" thing to do. You know how gullible men are. They will eat, drink and have sex with anything.

maybe its because most women mistakingly believe that beer is fatening, and don't realize that mixed drinks have a lot more calories than a pint of Guiness.
